where emphasis in on ensuring every child receives a well-rounded, holistic education to ensure their eventual success in a global environment.

Apart from languages, all teaching is conducted in English with support from bilingual teaching assistants in Primary with students encouraged to use English in their communication in order to be proficient in the world’s lingua franca.

The learning experience at our International School is made more vibrant with the hands-on teaching approach adopted by teachers, who are well-resourced and employ up-to-date teaching materials to motivate learning.

An extensive range of co-curricular clubs and activities ranging from drama, art, music, and sports are available to students. Through their involvement in these activities, students not only learn another skill but also develop confidence in themselves.

INTERNATIONAL PRIMARY

(5-11 Years Old)

We use the English National Curriculum for teaching and learning in English, Science and Mathematics, and the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for all other subjects.

The IPC brings rigour and deep engagement of learning through a thematic approach, providing students the opportunity to familiarise themselves with global cultures and exemplify the eight IPC personal goals, which are enquiry, resilience, morality, communication, thoughtfulness, co-operation, respect and adaptability.

IPC enhances practical skills by integrating various subjects such as Geography, History, Mathematics, English, Art, Physical Education, Information & Communications Technology (ICT), Science, as well as Health-Well-Being. This helps to develop real world applications to their learning and understanding. Students are able to use skills they have learnt through a range of interesting and creative themes.

Personal goals are embedded throughout the school. We strive to develop the whole child to be a conscientious citizen of the world, a person who is adaptable.
