Introduction

The first key stage of school warmly welcomes children from Early Years into Primary School, encouraging each child to continue their development while maintaining a fun and active approach to learning. Alongside classroom-based learning, a broad co-curricular programme and opportunities for education beyond the classroom ensure we provide a well-rounded, holistic education for every child.

Most learning takes place in the nurturing environment of the classroom, facilitated by the classroom teacher and assistant teachers. In World Languages, students study Mandarin or Bahasa Malaysia, the national language, helping them develop the skills and enthusiasm to learn an additional language in depth. Students can also explore other languages through the after-school language club programme. Subjects such as IPC, Science, Maths, ICT & Computing, and Art are taught through engaging and dynamic topic-based curriculums, designed to spark curiosity and creativity while fostering a love for learning.

"KGSR integrates classroom learning with educational experiences beyond the classroom to offer a programme that cultivates future World Changers. At KGSR, we recognise that our responsibility goes beyond achieving exceptional academic outcomes. We are fully dedicated to delivering a holistic, well-balanced education that supports every aspect of a student’s development."
